ABOUT MAGIC DYKE*
Magic Dyke* is a masc Dyke* stripping group based in Berlin by and for lesbians, queer women, non-binary, trans, intersex and agender people showing masc stripping from non-cis masculinities and give butches, studs, bois, mascs and genderfuckers a stage to feel sexy in a world that tells them they aren't. Since May 2022, Magic Dyke* creates sensational shows and provide a party that is a safe space for the SLINTA* (sapphic, lesbian, intersex, non-binary, transgender, agender) community in Berlin. A safe door policy that doesn't judge based on appearance, queer SWer-led SLINTA*-only darkroom, sex-positive atmosphere and effort to make it as inclusive an environment as they can. Through them, people get to see butches, studs and other sapphics with masc expression being seen as sexy, creating a sense of euphoria in all those who identify with or are attracted to butchness.

We are coming at you with full honesty... we are struggling right now and want to keep Magic Dyke* running the way it does. With a smaller venue and bills to pay, we have upped our price slightly (ranging 15Eu to 32Eu) with a much bigger range of prices to keep it fair to everyone. We are a masc str*pping party and have our bodies on show for you. We will have a system in place on the night to give or not give your consent to the Dyke*s, but under no circumstances should you touch the Magic Dyke*s or other people without their express consent. This will result in your expulsion from the venue.

We will have our own door to ensure SLINTA* (sapphics, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans, agender) are prioritised. Please keep this in mind. If you are concerned about presenting a certain way please don't be! Our door does not discriminate on appearance -only if you do not know our rules, are hateful to others or too intoxicated. If you are a cis endo (non-intersex) man please consider if this space is the right space for you - as this is a safe space for the SLINTA* community. (To reaffirm - this does not apply to those that present as men or masculine but identify as SLINTA*- you are welcome!)
Everything but a yes means no. Get explicit consent before doing anything. Consent also means voyeurism and watching others requires consent. (If you want to be watched or played with - go to our centre piece!)

From Morocco to Palestine. From the diaspora to our homelands. Psychedelic Desert Sounds as Liberation & Empowerment
For the first time, diasporic lead singers and friends Yousra Mansour & Jamila Al-Yousef unite in a concert for female empowerment & decolonial liberation. With their bands Bab L’Bluz and Jamila & The Other Heroes they will share the stage at SÄÄLCHEN Berlin. Both bands are known for combining psychedelic progressive rock music with North African and West Asian rhythms, vocals and instruments.
Yousra & Jamila team up as an act of solidarity and empowerment. Both have released songs to end patriarchal and colonial structures and celebrate the strengths of women* and our female ancestors. After a sexual harassment incident in a backstage, Jamila had an inspiring conversation with Yousra and wrote Ya Habibi, La with her band. Including a feminist choir, the song is all about setting boundaries and speaking up for awareness structures in the Club- and Festival scene. Just recently Yousra released AmmA, a song about the injustice of having women* still doing most of the care work and being treated in a sexist manner. Yousra addresses her own precious mother and puts her anger into music that will make you dance and sweat!
This will be the first proper Berlin show of Lyon based and internationally hyped band Bab L’Bluz, that is just releasing their new album Swaken. Also Jamila & The Other Heroes join Säälchen with their latest album Bazaar Bizarre. فلسطين وين أنا؟ . Palestine where am I? - the translation of the Arabic title – refers to Jamila’s Palestinian diasporic identity. As an utmost tragedy is unfolding in front of our eyes in Gaza and attempts grow to delegitimize and silence Palestinian voices worldwide, her message is more relevant than ever. In songs like Fragments of Palestine , YABA or Border Syndrome Jamila addresses the fight against racism, occupation and the wish for liberation and equal rights for everyone who lives in the region.
As friends and fellow musicians, Yousra & Jamila, both chose music as their weapon to fight injustice in the world. We invite you to join their musical struggle for liberation and empowerment and enjoy their rich bands sounds’.

Bab L' Bluz (literally "The door of the Blues") is a Franco-Moroccan group created in 2018 in Marrakech following the meeting of the Moroccan singer/guitarist Yousra Mansour and the French guitarist / producer Brice Bottin. Passionate about Gnawa music, they decide to learn together the guembri. Armed with their electric guembris, Bab L' Bluz resonates a mixture of Gnawa trance rhythms, Hassani songs from southern Morocco and Chaâbi polyrhythms, propelling their music into the magnetic fields of psychedelic rock and volutes of incense.
Led by a woman doukkalia, the group wants to carry a revolution of attitude being part of the movement of the Moroccan youth "Nayda", a new wave of artists and committed musicians who are inspired by the local heritage and sing texts of freedom in the Moroccan-Arabic dialect, the darija. Very active since its creation, the power quartet travels the globe to distill its hypnotic riffs and spread its mystical and liberating headbanging frenzy to its audience - a true signature of the group. Seine Heldinnen träumen davon, in ihre Heimat zurückzukehren, doch ihre Hoffnungen und Pläne werden von der Realität grausam zunichte gemacht. Das Thema des unwiderruflichen Verlusts der Heimat reimt sich auf Tschechows Klassiker, wird aber in einer neuen Lesart und Interpretation präsentiert. Anhand der Monologe, die heute noch aktuell sind, wird das Schicksal von Menschen in der Emigration aufgezeigt.
Das Stück durchläuft vier Phasen, die den Machern schmerzlich vertraut sind - Euphorie, Verleugnung, Traurigkeit und Akzeptanz - und versucht so, einen Teil des kulturellen Codes der russischen Emigration und der Einwanderung im Allgemeinen zu veranschaulichen.
Warum geschieht das mit uns? Wie können wir uns in einem neuen Land zurechtfinden? Worauf können wir uns verlassen und wie können wir das Heimweh überwinden? Die Macher der Inszenierung reflektieren all diese komplexen Fragen und nutzen dabei neben Tschechows Text die Atmosphäre eines Berliner Kabaretts als Verbündete. Wir schreiben das Jahr 2023, auch bekannt als das Jahr von Leisurevision, denn das neuseeländische Kollektiv kehrt mit seinem vierten Studioalbum zurück.
In einer Welt, die sich mit sofortiger Befriedigung und Erfolg über Nacht beschäftigt, haben LEISURE den malerischen Weg gewählt. Die fünf Mitglieder - und Kumpels - kamen 2015 auf einer spontanen Reise entlang der zerklüfteten Westküste Neuseelands zusammen. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatten sie unabhängig voneinander Jahre damit verbracht, sich durch die engen Maschen der Musikmaschine zu wälzen. Einzeln sind die fünf preisgekrönten Songwriter, Produzenten und Kreative. Gemeinsam beschlossen sie, ein neues musikalisches Paradigma zu schaffen: Schluss mit dem Scheiß, Spaß an der Sache und vor allem FREIHEIT.
Mit „Leisurevision“ wird eine farbenfrohe neue Saison eingeläutet, die durch die Farbe Grün symbolisiert wird - ein Symbol für Wachstum, Erneuerung und Wiedergeburt.
Das Album ist von verschiedenen Epochen der Sanftheit, des Blue-Eyed-Soul, der Siebziger bis hin zur romantischen Energie der Post-Disco und frühen Achtziger, gepaart mit einem Hip-Hop-Drum-Programming aus der Mitte der Neunziger inspiriert. Alles unterlegt mit einem üppigen LEISURE-Gitarrensound, der sich wie ein roter Faden durch ihre Diskografie zieht.
Es ist die einzigartige LEISURE-Marke von seelensuchendem Elektro-Funk und Shoegaze, die Fans auf der ganzen Welt in ihren Bann gezogen hat. Sie gehen den Weg in ihrem eigenen Tempo, auf ihre eigene Art und Weise. Mit ihrer Tour im Sommer 2024 laden sie nun alle ein, mit „Leisurevision“ auf dem Freeway in den Sonnenuntergang zu fahren und alle Lieblingssong zu spielen.
James Vincent McMorrow pens the kind of songs that make you want to partake in life. As if radiating energy straight from the heart, the Irish singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and troubadour’s smooth high register rings out as emotion spills over organic soundscapes accented by elements of folk, indie, and rock. His fingers pluck guitar strings with intention as his vocals stir even the most intimate emotions to the surface.
This spirit surges through his upcoming record and Nettwerk Music Group debut, “Wide Open, Horses”.
“To me, the album is about finding relief from the cycle of life’s pressure,” he states. “I don’t think the theory ‘modernity equals better’ holds much water these days. The more technology we add, the more unhappy everyone seems to be. I don’t want to move backwards, but I felt a sense of nostalgia and happiness in the album. It would be grandiose of me to think I could offer you some profound release through words and lyrics, but maybe I can…The job is to make a record I love and hopefully offer a respite. Maybe we can all get back to a life where we aren’t so obsessed with trying to seek out meaning from absolutely everything.”

Nach dem Gold zertifizierten Nummer Eins-Debütalbum „Ansa Woar“ (2016) und dem bei den Amadeus Austrian Music Awards als Album des Jahres ausgezeichneten Meisterwerk „`s klane Glücksspiel“ (2019) sowie einem erfolgreichen Soundtrack-Ausflug („Sargnagel – Der Film“), der ihm eine Nominierung für den österreichischen Filmpreis einbrachte, ist Voodoo Jürgens nun zurück mit seinem bisherigen Opus Magnum "Wie die Nocht noch jung wor".
Lyrisch war er nie präziser, die Musik changiert dabei gekonnt. Mal ist sie zart und anrührend, dann wieder feurig mitreißend; seine Band die Ansa Panier ist längst als beste Live-Band im ganzen Land bekannt, swingt, twisted und jazzed sich unmucker-haft, geschmackvoll und immer mit einer Leidenschaft als ginge es um ihr Leben durch ein Panoptikum allerschönster Klänge, während Voodoo seine Geschichten erzählt.
Geschichten von Außenseitern, Gaunern, Verlierern und abgehängten Antihelden. Ihnen gibt Voodoo eine Stimme. Soweit so bekannt. Neu ist, dass Voodoo diesmal mehr als früher persönliches preisgibt und uns durch sein lyrisches ich hier auch immer wieder von seinen eigenen Kämpfen erzählt, uns an seinem Seelenleben teilhaben lässt.
„Wie die nocht noch jung wor“ zeigt einen Künstler auf einem ersten Zenit. Es ist zeitlos, mutig, selbstbewusst und voll rauer Emotion.

Two Another are Eliot Porter and Angus Campbell, a musical duo originating from Sydney, Australia. Their kaleidoscopic mix of Electronic, Alternate RnB, Indie Pop and Soul has been heard across the globe since joining forces in 2015, amassing a following of over 1.8 million monthly listeners and over 400 million streams to date, with tour dates spanning across Europe, the Americas, the UK and back home in Australia.
Now based in Europe, the band’s global origin story lies under the Australian sun with Eliot and Angus meeting in their high school music program where they were taught audio production by hometown dance-music-icons Bag Raiders. The pair quickly bonded over a mutual love of D’Angelo, Daft Punk and Danger Mouse. “Growing up in that golden era of indie, Ed Banger and French Touch, we shared a love of 90s electronica, dance and hip hop, and our parent’s Motown records,” says Angus, “There was a lot to be inspired by.”
The duo’s recordings have since gone on to achieve significant success, accumulating hundreds of millions of streams of their EPs ‘Another Tape‘ and ‘Two Sides’, followed by their debut album ‘Back To Us’. Their versatility is evident in their remixes and collaborations with artists like Young Franco, Portugal The Man, The Magician, and Claptone.
On stage Two Another creates an undeniable connection with any audience they are put in front of. The live band elevates the catalog, taking their grooves, musicality and vocal-driven anthems to another level. 2024 is set to be the biggest year yet for the pair. They will release their second full length album, ‘SUBURBIA’ in the Fall alongside their first ever World Tour.
