Mit Klang:Raum:Club bringen wir klassische Instrumente dorthin, wo man sie nicht erwartet: in den Club. Ohne Elektronik, ohne Effekte – nur der reine,  Klang im direkten Dialog mit Raum, Publikum und Atmosphäre.
Die Grenzen zwischen Konzert und Club lösen sich auf. Nähe, Konzentration, Bewegung. Moderne klassische Musik entfaltet sich in einem Umfeld, das mehr Freiraum lässt – für Zuhören, Innehalten, Entdecken.

Guilherme Rodrigues ist ein in Lissabon geborener Cellist, Improvisator und Komponist. Er begann im Alter von sieben Jahren mit dem Musikstudium und wurde klassisch sowie zeitgenössisch an der Orquestra Metropolitana de Lisboa und am Conservatório Nacional de Música de Lisboa ausgebildet. Seine Arbeit verbindet klassische Spielweisen mit erweiterten Cellotechniken und zeichnet sich durch polyrhythmische, klanglich intensive und innovative Ansätze aus – sowohl akustisch als auch elektroakustisch.
2022 veröffentlichte er das Projekt Acoustic Reverb, gefördert vom Musikfonds, das die besonderen Akustiken von neun Berliner Kirchen erforscht. Zudem erhielt er ein Neustart-Kultur-Stipendium für Extended Techniques on the Cello, eine vielfach genutzte Dokumentation für Komponist:innen und Musiker:innen zu erweiterten Spieltechniken.
Rodrigues ist Gründer des experimentellen Red List Ensemble, Mitbegründer von Dis Con Sent und Kernmitglied des Reanimation Orchestra. Neben seiner Konzerttätigkeit unterrichtet er Cello in Berlin. Als zentrale Figur der europäischen Improvisationsszene arbeitet er regelmäßig mit Tänzer:innen und einer großen Zahl internationaler Musiker:innen zusammen, tritt europa- und asienweit auf und hat bisher über 150 Alben eigener Projekte veröffentlicht.

Multi-hyphenate musician and producer Avalon Emerson & the Charm shares new single ‘Eden’, today. The break-beat assisted ‘Eden’ arrives alongside a Ben Turok-directed music video that captures a real moment in time, featuring footage of Avalon rushing down from her home in upstate NY to John F. Kennedy airport to catch a flight to Europe for her next DJ set. The visuals of ‘Eden’ articulate the juxtapositional life Avalon lives as a diverse artist.
The new single follows Avalon’s collaborative track with legendary producer Moby, “E After Next,” released earlier this year as part of her Perpetual Emotion Machine series, a string of conceptually linked singles with her new label, Dead Oceans, and is the first taste of new music from Avalon Emerson & the Charm since her debut album & the Charm released in 2023.
Speaking about ‘Eden’ Avalon shares, “‘Eden’ is the voyage along the endless river carved between mountains of joy and loss, of experience and exhaustion. We glide over a teeming riverbed of relationships and love, revealing the path itself is the point.
‘Eden’ came from the first studio session I had with Bullion after the last "& the Charm" live tour in late 2023. That day in London made me realize that making this kind of music is not just a detour from DJing and dance music, but the entrance to a deep cave, full of passages to wander.”
Avalon Emerson has solidified her position as one of the most respected DJs and dynamic artists from her beginnings in San Francisco's warehouse scene to her time living and playing in Berlin, performing at the legendary Berghain and other famed clubs for over a decade. Now back in the United States and living in upstate New York, Avalon has been flexing other musical muscles. The aforementioned album, & the Charm, was released to broad acclaim in 2023 and introduced the live band element to Avalon’s musicianship. Co-produced with now frequent collaborator Nathan Jenkins (aka Bullion), & the Charm showcased Avalon’s distinctive range—with a rare ability to move fluidly between euphoric, high-BPM dance music and intimate indie pop.
