Am Ufer des Holzmarkt 25 wird der erste Sonntagmorgen des Monats stetig neu verhandelt: Beim Funky Breakfast Markt, wird Frühstücken zu einem außergewöhnlichen Zustand: Die Nacht klingt nach, der Morgen tanzt schon. Zwischen Croissant und Dosa, Kaffee und Mimosa trifft Clubkultur auf Kaffeeduft. Im Pyjama, im Glitzer von gestern oder bereit für die nächste Runde. Hier wird gegessen, was passt, und vielleicht auch getanzt.
Einmal um die Welt frühstücken, mit Blick auf die Spree, mit Freund:innen, Kindern, Kater und Konfetti im Kopf.
Komm vorbei. Hier ist der Morgen keine fragile Angelegenheit, die man vorsichtig behandeln muss, er ist ein Ereignis, das gefeiert werden will.
Wer an stilles Kaffeetassenklirren, diskrete Croissants und geschniegelt gebügelte Morgengesichter denkt, hat die Rechnung ohne die vorangegangene Nacht gemacht, die bei uns bekanntlich auch im Halbschlaf noch mit einem Bein auf der Tanzfläche steht: Kaffee wird zum Warm-up, Mimosa zur Selbstverständlichkeit, und irgendwo zwischen Spreeblick und Egg Benedict-Station beginnt jemand zu tanzen, als hätte die Nacht nie eine Pause eingelegt. Ein Holzmarkt-typisches, sehr lebendiges Ritual für alle, die wissen, dass der Sonntagmorgen in Berlin selten dort beginnt, wo andere ihn vermuten.
