Day 1: Engagement explores how we share knowledge across disciplines and cultures. Together, we ask: Who owns knowledge, and how can we learn from one another? Scientists, artists, and the public come together to explore how open, creative, and inclusive knowledge systems can strengthen democratic societies and inspire change.
Highlights include:
- 12:30 – 13:30 @ Salöön | Studio Macht Kritik Kollaboration. Praxisreflexionen zwischen Aktivismus, Museum und Universität
Amid global crises and fragile democracies, collaborations between activism, museums, and academia are being redefined. The new volume MachtKritikKollaboration explores power, solidarity, and the future of critical collaboration.
- 16:30 - 17:30 @ Säälchen | Main Stage Lesson on Change
Barbara Meyer, Stefanie Molthagen-Schnöring, and Karl Stocker discuss how art, design, and science can jointly create new spaces for experimentation — places where the future is collectively imagined and shaped.
- 19:30 - 20:30 @ Salöön | Studio Unequal Scenes - Communicating Aerial Photography and Neuroscience
Artist Johnny Miller and neuroscientist Agustin Ibanez reveal how art and science expose hidden inequalities — connecting drone photography and neuroscience to uncover the invisible forces shaping our lives.
