Directly from Ecuador they are going to come to offer just one concert in Germany. She will be accompanied by incredible and prestigious musicians from Ecuador and Colombia: Alex Alvear, Sebastian Oviedo, Daniel Guillan and Natalia Ortiz.
ILYARI is an Actress, manager and singer-songwriter from Peru and the Netherlands, based in Ecuador. 'Todas mis Sangres' ('All my blood' in Spanish) is the name of her first album as a composer, made up of seven years of research into her musical roots. Her songs are the result of a play between Andean, Afro-Peruvian, Afro-Ecuadorian rhythms, Western harmonies and modern popular styles. “They are sung stories with characters from my family that have influenced them and their experiences. A tribute to the diverse faces and musical traditions that form the mosaic of my own life story”.

Kulturelle Aneignung und Rassismus. Eitelkeit in den sozialen Medien und Frauenfeindlichkeit sowie Postkolonialismus und politische Korrektheit. Das sind keine Gesprächsthemen, die man normalerweise auf dem Dancefloor hört, aber Charlotte Adigéry und Bolis Pupul zerreißen mit ihrem Debütalbum „Topical Dancer” das Regelwerk. Das Duo aus Gent, das 2019 mit seiner „Zandoli“ EP auf dem Soulwax Plattenlabel DEEWEE den Durchbruch schaffte, veröffentlichte im März 2022 ihr Debütalbum „Topical Dancer”.
Themen wie Rassismus, Ausgrenzung, Eitelkeit, Frauen- und Fremdenfeindlichkeit sowie Political Correctness tauchen auf dem 13 Song Debütalbum immer wieder auf. Gelegentlicher Rassismus gehört für Charlotte leider mit Sprüchen wie „Geh zurück in dein Land, wo du hingehörst" immer noch zur Tagesordnung. „Wenn man so etwas sein ganzes Leben lang erlebt, muss man sich selbst aktiver definieren, um seinen Platz in der Welt zu behaupten", sagt Charlotte. „Topical Dancer“ sprüht nur so vor Ideen und vor Themen, die in unserer heutigen Gesellschaft leider immer noch zu wenig Aufmerksamkeit bekommen. Vor allem lässt sich das Album in keine Schublade stecken.

Reggie Watts ist ein international bekannter Musiker/Komödiant/Autor/Schauspieler und kommt im August nach Berlin.
Im Jahr 2010 veröffentlichte Watts sein erstes Comedy-Special „Why Shit So Crazy?“ auf Comedy Central Records, das jetzt auf Netflix zu sehen ist. „Why Shit So Crazy?“ zeigte Watts in Live-Auftritten an New Yorker Veranstaltungsorten wie Galapagos, The Bellhouse und Le Poisson Rouge, ergänzt durch kurze Sketche und Musikvideos. 2012 nahm Watts sein zweites Comedy-Special „A Live At Central Park“ auf. Die New York Times nannte es „einen schwindelerregenden Rausch von eskapistischem Unsinn" und bezeichnete Watts als „den einflussreichsten Absurdisten der heutigen Comedy".
Derzeit als Bandleader in „The Late Late Show with James Corden“ unterwegs steht er für seine beeindruckende Stimme, seinen Loop-Pedalen und enormen Vorstellungskräften, die Grenzen zwischen Musik und Comedy verschwimmen lassen und sein Publikum mit Auftritten, die zu 100 % improvisiert sind begeistern.
Als Solokünstler hat Watts' Musik-Comedy-Fusion zu ausverkauften Headliner-Tourneen in den USA und Europa geführt, darunter Festivals wie Bonnaroo, SXSW, Bumbershoot, Just For Laughs, Pemberton und mehr.

#improphonie Folge 2: Live-Elektronik
Groove – Bewegung – Augenkontakt. In dem Programm #improphonie fängt das Stegreif Orchester die Magie der kollektiven, freien Improvisation ein. Wie kann Musik im Moment und im Kontakt mit dem Publikum entstehen? Wo begegnen sich Improvisation und Komposition? Lässt sich sogar eine ganze Sinfonie improvisieren?
Die individuellen Stärken und unterschiedlichen Hintergründe der Musiker*innen werden hierbei zur treibenden Energie und lassen Genregrenzen zwischen Jazz, Salsa, Techno, Mittelalter und Klassik organisch ineinanderfließen. Der Klang des sinfonischen Orchesters wird dabei erweitert um Saxofon, Drumset, E-Gitarre, elektronische Instrumente (Looper, Ipads, Effektgeräte) und die eigene Stimme. Die #improphonie ist keine feststehende Komposition, sondern beruht ausschließlich auf Improvisationskonzepten. Das Publikum durchwandert gemeinsam mit den Musiker*innen die vier Sätze einer Sinfonie, die auf diese Art und Weise nie wieder erklingen wird – denn sie ist aus dem Moment geboren.
So bietet die Konzert-Reihe im Säälchen die Möglichkeit, jedem Abend einen neuen Fokus zu geben. Bei diesem Konzert liegt dieser auf der Arbeit mit Live-Elektronik. Durch Samplingtechniken und Effektmikrophone läd diese #improphonie besonders zum Grooven, Tanzen und Bewegen ein.
Das Konzert wird gerahmt von einem interaktiven Workshop als Warm-Up vor Konzertbeginn und im Anschluss der Möglichkeit zum Austausch mit den Künstler*innen an der Bar.
